Jason founded the business in May 2018. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge across all media channels. He has worked for some of the biggest industry heavyweights including News UK, emap, Conversant and Publicitas and has forged all of this together to create Citrus Ornge Media. He is extremely passionate about all things media and takes a very hands-on approach to working with our clients. Most importantly for our business, he understands the challenges that are faced when rebuilding a life after addiction, which drives our social mission to help others wherever we can.
Ian has worked at board level for a number of large global media and tech businesses including Visual DNA, Inter public Group, blinkx and Burst Media.
Ian will be working closely with Citrus Ornge Founder Jason Baker, taking a leadership role on the board and helping it to expand from new challenger lead generation business to established sector thought leader. Ian will offer insight across the entire business, as well as specifically overseeing financial management, strategic direction and long-term growth.
James BurtonBoard Adviser - Sales & Strategy
James is an experienced entrepreneur who has built and grown companies across a range of sectors, from telecoms & software to technology marketing and garden annexes. In 2009 he founded Qualifa (tech lead generation), building the business to a multi-million turnover with offices in the UK, USA, Singapore and New Zealand. Qualifa was acquired by Clarion Events in 2016 and since then James has established new businesses within the home improvements sector. He will assist Jason and the team with commercial strategy and execution, whilst also helping with developing their ad agency business and new client acquisition.
Roxy RafterOperations Manager
Roxy brings a wealth of account and project management experience to Citrus Ornge with over 15 years of advertising, creative and digital agency experience. She has been fortunate enough to work for a variety of award-winning agencies and global brands such as Virgin Atlantic, International Olympic Committee and Nike. Roxy works closely with Jason to deliver large-scale digital marketing campaigns whilst managing Citrus Ornge’s business operations to ensure Citrus Ornge operates like a well-oiled machine!
Charlie CurtisBoard Advisor - Media & Partnerships
Charlie has worked with the founder of our company on a number of other projects and business ventures. He brings a huge amount of media and industry experience to Citrus. His role is to help drive growth through partnerships and connections to the business, while casting his expert eye over our recruitment, talent sourcing and people management.
Stephanie YoungSenior Creative Designer
Stephanie Young thrives on creative challenges and delivers a bespoke client experience from concept to completion. Bringing an idea to life with the skills she has accumulated over her 25+ years’ working experience. She can also step-in at any point of the creative journey to help achieve great design and success.

Stephanie’s professional journey began in 1993 as an art director for top advertising agencies in London and Edinburgh, including Saatchi and Saatchi and The Leith. Over the following years she worked in printing, marketing and publishing agencies for a variety of clients including global brands, city publications, entertainment venues, independent businesses and everything in-between. Some of Stephanie’s strongest assets are strategic thinking and problem-solving. A wider prospective and varied knowledge bank gives her the ability to see a project from all directions.

John ParkSales Manager
Citrus Ornge has something very special and I am excited to be part of their company mission. The Citrus Ornge value offering is strong I am motivated to support the development of the business. Here I lead the financial appointment setting functions with an overarching objective at the centre of everything I do – “quality.” I work very closely with our Managing Director to find additional revenue streams while developing our clients’ business objectives.
I bring a wealth of experience to the team across several sectors including finance, marketing, real estate, and SaaS. In my previous role, I helped to launch a fledgling SaaS company in the USA; they are now one of the top real estate marketing platforms in North America. I have the same ambitions for Citrus Ornge!
I have strong values that align perfectly with Citrus Ornge, I bring energy, ideas, salesmanship and enthusiasm in abundance. Away from the office, I am a social guy who loves to talk about football and politics.
Carmel Millar - M.A., MCIPDHR & Wellbeing
Carmel has enjoyed a 44 year career in Human Resources and Organisational Development including 23 years at HR Director level, including posts at the British Library, Surrey County Council, Westminster Council, and CAFCASS.
Carmel is a qualified employment law specialist with a Master’s Degree in Employment Law. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate and Post Graduate Diploma in Politics and Public Administration and a Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring . As a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), a Chartered member of the Institute of Personnel Development, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Carmel brings a vast amount of experience, expertise, and industry knowledge to Citrus Ornge.
Ethics, standards and confidentiality
As a member of the EMCC, I operate under their Code of Ethics in all my activity. In relation to my coach competency level as set out in the Code, I self-assess as a senior coach and am aiming for Master Coach status through my MSc studies. I receive regular coaching supervision from Brighton-based Coach supervisor Mel Withers.
As a qualified keep fit instructor and life-long Iyengar yoga practitioner, Carmel’s role is to help our employees with their health and wellbeing, as well as ensuring that Citrus Ornge is the kind of employer that it aspires to be.
Shelley JamesAccount Executive
Shelley has over 5 years of experience working in payroll and joined Citrus Ornge in July 2019. She supports the Citrus team with administration, finance, and their email marketing campaigns. Outside of work Shelley enjoys doing yoga, meditation and going for long country walks.
Rose O'CallaghanPR Manager
Rose is a fearless optimist with 6 years of B2C Sales and Telecoms experience and a further 4 years of B2B under her belt. With an exceptional track record as a freelancer in the creative and PR agencies arena, Rose is a true self-starter.
Relationship building and idea generation are her forte thanks to a deep understanding of brands, platforms and strategies. But what sets her apart from the rest is her nose for business and can often use her innate ability to connect dots that otherwise would sometimes go overlooked. She also has the ability to work to budgets and strict deadlines – which we love.

Tom is a veteran business development manager and marketer. His experience combines high-level strategy with the day-to-day tasks necessary to achieve business objectives.
